Dr. Adam Winsler is professor of applied developmental psychology and human development and family science at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. His over 100 publications examine a variety of policy-relevant educational issues, such as early childhood education, long-term effects of pre-K programs, the academic success of low-income, ethnically and linguistically diverse, immigrant, urban children, and children’s school readiness, bilingualism, and executive functioning. He was editor-in-chief of the journal, Early Childhood Research Quarterly (ECRQ), from 2006-2015, and has received over $2 million (USD) in research funding.
