Sonya Douglass is a Professor of Education Leadership at Teachers College, Columbia University, the Founding Director of the Black Education Research Center, and the Co-Director of Urban Education Leaders Program. Her research focuses on the social and political contexts of school leadership, school segregation, critical race theory, Black education and the superintendency.
