Russell Shaw is the Head of School for Georgetown Day School. Before coming to GDS in 2010, Russell was assistant head of school and middle school director at Abington Friends School in Pennsylvania, where he also served as project manager for an E.E. Ford Foundation grant to support action research on multi-racial pedagogy. Russell has developed curriculum and taught courses on ethics and leadership and has presented nationally on the intersection of parenting, technology, education, and other topics at a range of settings, including the Aspen Ideas Festival and the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) Annual Conference.
