Nicholas Meier is an adjunct lecturer with Brandman University (of Chapman). Previously he was a Professor of Education at California State University, Monterey Bay and a lecturer at San Jose State University. Before working as a professor of teacher education, Nicholas spent 14 years as an elementary teacher working with predominantly minority students in bilingual settings in California.
He received his Ph.D. from Stanford University. His research interests include preparing teachers to work with English language learners, progressive education, technology and educational equity, teacher collaboration, and teacher professional community.
