Monica Obregon (she/her) is a doctoral student in the School of Education at the University of Colorado Boulder. She works as a Graduate Research Assistant for the National Education Policy Center on the Price of Opportunity Project. Monica received her B.A in interdisciplinary studies from the University of Texas San Antonio and a M.Ed. in education leadership and policy with a focus in Education policy and planning from the University of Texas Austin. Her research interests are in school finance equity, state funding formulas for education, and decision-making processes among political leaders in education policies at the state and federal level.
